Advocacy (Coordinate, Organize, Facilitate)
CEED believes in the empowerment of neighborhood/community stakeholders to guide their own decisions. However, communities need to be informed, and their voices not just aired, but advocated in an unbiased manner. Through partnerships, collaborations and chains of established networks, CEED will help to advocate issues paramount to a better quality of life and sustainable neighborhood/community development; by promoting best practices and providing pragmatic solutions to problems within these communities. CEED employs innovative approaches to advocacy through neighborhood/community meetings with CDS's, individuals and local organizations, as well as identifying and engaging the other stakeholders in the area. Town hall meetings, focus group discussions, marketing, and mass media (print, audio and visual), as well as visual assessments of the neighborhood/community are means to further the aim of the people.
NonProfit Coalition Partnerships
CEED is passionate about strengthening nonprofit organizations and community groups by eliminating barriers to collaboration and effective information sharing. We bring together and bridge the gaps between local, regional and international agencies and individuals who share common goals. Best practices, Development Case Studies, Success Stories/Studies, Shared Ideas via the internet, Local Seminars, Training, and Technical Assistance Workshops will provide sustainability and self-sufficiency to those organizations seeking and planning for their long-term stability and growth.
